2017, New InVogue Hair
Our Story
In 2017, Katrina and her family made the bold decision to sell their home in NSW and relocate to Queensland, becoming the proud new owners of InVogue Hair Designers in Wishart.
The transition wasn’t easy. With staff changes, a full business takeover, and starting fresh in a new state without an established network, the journey required resilience, faith and determination. Through hard work and passion, InVogue has grown into a trusted salon known for producing some of Brisbane’s most beautiful, high-quality hair in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Today, clients love the refreshed atmosphere, fun, friendly, professional, and always accompanied by a warm smile and a great coffee.
InVogue Hair Designers also became Queensland’s first Platinum Ambassador Salon for Artego Australia, proudly promoting premium Italian haircare products and innovation within the industry.
With a combined wealth of experience and a commitment to showcasing authentic salon work across social media, the team continues to grow stronger each year.
Still going strong years later, and proud to serve the wonderful Wishart community for many more to come.

Katrina, The Proud Owner
Meet Katrina
Owner & Senior Stylist
Katrina began her hairdressing career in Sydney in 1994, inspired by a close family friend who successfully owned and operated a hair salon and barber shop for over 40 years. From an early age, she developed a passion for the industry and quickly proved her natural leadership and talent.
After graduating ahead of schedule through early assessment, Katrina stepped into salon management at just 18 years old, a testament to her skill, dedication and maturity.
Over the years, she has worked across a variety of salon environments, including barber shops and full-service salons, managing teams and mentoring multiple generations of emerging stylists. Katrina has always prioritised continued education, regularly investing in advanced training and professional development to stay at the forefront of industry trends and techniques.
In early 2017, Katrina began training and education with Artego Australia. With decades of experience behind the brand’s importers and educators, she quickly fell in love with the quality, innovation and results of the Italian haircare range.
Later that year, Katrina made the bold decision to relocate her family to Queensland, bringing Artego to InVogue Hair Designers and proudly introducing the premium range to the Brisbane community.
The results speak for themselves. Through expert technique, premium products and genuine care for every client, Katrina and her team continue to produce beautiful, consistent results, proudly showcased across their social media platforms.

Worlds Greatest Shave
Katrina has donated her time to many years worth of charity head shave for multiple local schools.

We like to have fun... outside work hours too. We celebrate each others birthdays and other occassions. We even like to spoil clients on their birthdays (if you tell us:) )
In Salon Greenery
We love the idea of feeling comfortable in your surroundings. So in store you'll find relaxing plants and floral arrangements, but don't fear for your allergies, they are Silk arrangements and Imitation plants

Who doesn't love a reward or to be recognized for Loyalty. We love and are very thankful for our loyal clients and community. So we have many ways to say Thank You. A loyalty card gets stamped for every visit. We also have a Reward system for Salon Referrals.
